4th of July Weekend (part 1)

The weekend did not start off on a good note, but rather with the "Great Diaper Disaster of 2010" Maddie got to hang out in her bed and play while I cleaned everything up and conveniently it happened just before Alex got home from work so he got spared.




Saturday morning I had to work for a few hours so Maddie hung out with her Aunt Lindsay and Uncle Eric for a bit. That afternoon we met our friends Julia, Aiden and Ethan to go to a small carnival by our house. Maddie and Ethan hung out in the strollers and swapped toys and bottles (literally, we looked at one point and Ethan had somehow grabbed Maddie's bottle).




Meanwhile, Aiden enjoyed all the rides at the carnival.


We woke up early on Sunday and got Maddie dressed to go to church with Grandma and Papa so mom could get some errands and cleaning done.

"Happy Birthday America!"


While I was out running errands I saw a local school that had covered there front lawn with flags so of course we had to go back later for a photo shoot:






Sunday night we went to a local park to watch the fireworks.


I was a little worried that the loud noise would bother Maddie, but we ended up having nothing to worry about and she even fell asleep during the show!


And still no crawling, just a lot of yoga poses


Up next, we are going to try out her baby pool for the first time this afternoon then we have a barbecue and another adorable July 4th outfit!
