Bad Blogger

I know I owe everyone updates on both Maddie's Birthday Party and our engagement (yes, we are now engaged, squeee!) but work is insane right now that I just haven't had the time. I promise after the game on Saturday to sit down and get a post done on each. Until then, enjoy this picture of Maddie snuggling one night with her new doll from her Friss.

One Year (The Outtakes)

Every one always ask if she just smiles all the time and I assure them that she doesn't. I take LOTS of pictures in order to get the good ones that I post here. Here are a few of my favorite outtakes from this past year:

Happy Halloween!!

We actually got to enjoy three days of Halloween here! On Friday Maddie's daycare took the kids to the hospital next door to trick or treat. We didn't want her costume to get dirty from her having it on all day so we settled for this adorable onesie with a tutu. She was so cute in it that I now want to get her more!

Saturday night Maddie stayed at Grandmas so Alex and I could enjoy and adult Halloween party at one of our friends houses. Unfortunately we have no pictures of us that evening because I forgot to bring our camera (oops).

Sunday we took Maddie to a Halloween party that another friend was having for a bunch of kids. Maddie finally got a chance to rock her awesome costume and as you can see she loved it!

She was really popular at the party, the minute we put her down these three boys plopped down next to her to play.

She also got to hang out with the coolest pirate around, our friends Ana and Jason's little girl Millie. Ana and I work together and we were both pregnant at the same time and Millie was born exactly two months after Maddie. (despite the looks they both really did have fun)

Alex and I were the farmer and farmers wife.

And Maddie's favorite thing about the party, THE FOOD! She ate a ton of sweet potato fries and also a little bite of banana bread.

Thank you Ana and Jason for inviting us, we had a blast! Even with no trick or treating I would say overall Maddie's first Halloween was a success. I already can't wait until next year (maybe because I went to Target today and bought her a 2T costume for half off).

Can I Please get a Recliner?

Halloween pictures to come soon, but until then enjoy these pics from last night. She was so tired from the Halloween party we went to that she passed out in her chair mid way through a bottle.
