Two recent parenting oops!

Just a few of the goofs that had made us laugh in the last few weeks:

Daddy invented a new pair of socks called "Aquasocks" (due to the fact that he put her in the bathtub with her regular socks still on)




And mommy got distracted as Maddie played with a few homemade ornaments that we got for Christmas and before you know it we had this:

So long football season

We all got dressed up in our Bears gear for the historic playoff game today between the Bears and the Packers. Unfortunately the game didn't go the way we wanted, but we had a great day hanging out with some of our friends.








Maddie quickly became great friends with Sara, our host, who was more than happy to stuff her with goodies.




Sara's dogs didn't seem to mind one bit. She has three of them and they followed Maddie around for most of the day just waiting for her to drop something.






Even with the team not winning I was happy that we at least got a good family picture out of the day!


Now it's on to getting ready for baseball season - see you in the fall football!

Uggghhh

I know, I know, I need to update the blog. But to be honest I haven't felt like doing much the last few weeks. I've been really bad about taking pictures so I don't have much to update but I will share these few pictures of an impromptu dance session we had in the kitchen a few weeks ago.







We like to just turn on the IPod while we're making dinner and Maddie always likes to join in on the dancing.
